chrysler corporate identity dealership facilities manual In Detroit for Lippincott & Margulies on the Chrysler Corporate Identity Program. The Pentastar had already been created. I designed the facilities manual that explained everything dealers and their staffers needed to know about applying the program. (The logo manual was a different project.) Bob Stanley was L&M executive; John J. Codella, writer; Herb Schiebold, graphic illustrator; Ray Poelvoorde, architectural illustrator. It was 3-ring bound horizontally and the printer hated me. (Then we became friends and I designed their corporate ID.) This project had to look clean and corporate and American, not like the so-called Swiss design I have always studiously avoided.
